About
Meet Debbie Doyle -pressed flower curator, pen and ink artist, and lifelong maker.
Debbie was born and raised in the lush beauty of Ketchikan, Alaska and spent 23 years in Bellingham, Washington working as a florist. Her love of nature and design runs deep -and after raising a family and running a successful handmade polymer clay gift business called The Handcrafter, she's returning to her Alaskan roots to expand her artist portfolio while being closer to her two children and six grandchildren.
Now, under the name Petal Pusher, Debbie is pouring her decades of experience into a new chapter of creativity. She creates detailed pressed flower compositions using mostly homegrown and hand-pressed blooms, paired with her intricate pen and ink work. Every piece tells a story -grounded in the ever-changing beauty of nature.
This new online shop is a bold endeavor for Debbie -a self-described "non-techy" who's learning as she goes and embracing the challenge. Alongside selling original works, she's exploring the world of sharing her designs on merchandise, sharing her creations on prints, totes, and more.
When she's not in "the studio", you'll find her gardening, playing with her cat Gracie, or hosting sleepovers and crafting marathons with her grandkids -who are always ready to lend a hand (or a glue stick).
Debbie's art is available online and at local festivals when she pops up with her booth. Whether you're here to browse, support, or find something truly special, thank you for being part of this blossoming journey.
